Welcome to the One-Day Watercolor Series! This program consists of five single-day classes designed to help beginners navigate the distinct challenges and techniques of watercolor painting. You can take one class on a subject that's been tripping you up or you can sign up for a few of them to get a more in-depth introduction to the medium.
Materials are available for in-class use in all classes and no drawing skills are required.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
12/18/24 Class Five: Balancing a Composition
This class is for people who have an understanding of the basic watercolor techniques covered in this series, but want more guidance on creating depth and balance in their paintings.
We’ll go over how to create strong focal points by using a range of color vibrancy, value or transparency in your paint, and soft/hard edges to your marks. We’ll practice these techniques in a series of mini studies.
