I couldn't be happier with the work Kaitlyn did for True To You, LLC. From start to finish, her professionalism, communications, promptness, attention to detail and timeliness was perfect! We began with a totally blank slate, having no idea what I was even looking for in a design, after a consultation, Kaitlyn came up with four ideas, and from there my current branding was born. The whole process took less than a month and now my business is on its way!"

Custom House Portraits
These unique portraits are created with fine ink pens and watercolor paints on recycled Bristol or cotton fiber watercolor paper. They make thoughtful gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, housewarmings, Mother’s day, Father’s day, holidays, or just to show someone your appreciation.
I offer 5x7", 8x10", and 9x12" portraits in with or without color. I set aside two weeks for each portrait and schedule them as I receive completed invoices and reference photos.
Please contact me for my current price sheet or to book your house portrait.

For Non-Profits
As I mention on my Print Shop page, the flexibility of running my own business has always appealed to me because of the ability to shape its structure around my values. Because of this, I've decided to routinely support the organizations that shape my community in Jamaica Plain and the Greater Boston area. Together these groups support and uplift entire communities. They create safe spaces. They advocate and generate awareness on the local challenges we face. They collect and share research and data that moves for sustainable, legislative change. So if you're part of one of these organizations, thank you for your work and commitment to our community. Outside of my design work, there are a few ways I lend my services to aid non-profit and mission-driven, community organizations.
Art Print Fundraiser
Who it's for: The organization in a historic or notable building. The organization commissions a portrait of their building which I can then print, package and provide at a discounted rate to be resold during a 30-day fundraising period. I print on high-quality artist paper and can include a separate note or message from the organization. |
Auction Item Donation
Who it's for: The organization planning an auction If your organization is planning a charity auction, I can contribute a set of art prints or even a 5x7" Custom House Portrait. *Dependent on availability and supplies. |
Percentage Donations
10% of profits from each art print series I offer is donated to a local non-profit or community-based organization. I typically develop the art print series first and then choose an organization. This is a pretty informal process though so you are welcome to reach out if you'd like me to consider your organization or even if you have an idea for an illustration series. |
The Process
Working directly with my clients is one of my favorite parts of this business. This connection helps me continuously reassess and adapt my workflow to keep projects moving smoothly and efficiently. For many projects, this is the process you can expect to follow:
- Initial Call: We’ll discuss your business and project goal’s, answer any preliminary questions you may have for me, and I’ll collect any info I may need to put together a creative brief.
- Moving Forward: I’ll send you your project’s creative brief to ensure we are on the same page as well as the contract and initial deposit request for you to review, complete and return.
- Onboarding: I’ll set you up with a Dropbox folder (or Google Drive folder if that is your preference) for your business and project materials. In this drive will be a brief onboarding questionnaire and any “homework” I may have for you. You’ll often use this space to drop reference work as well as written and visual content for the project.
- The Visual Concepts: Following the timeline included in your creative brief, I’ll present you with your initial visual concepts as well as insight to the design choices I’ve made. You take this time to review the options, collect feedback and respond with your revisions for the next round.
- Revisions: These rounds will go quicker than the concept phase as we work through applying your edits and getting the design closer to the final product.
- Final Files: Once your final design has been approved, I’ll prepare the files you’ll need to share your design online or through print. With logos and brand packages, I’ll also spend this time putting together your brand guidelines packet that goes through the logo variations, fonts, colors and visual elements we created. Most products will also include an instructional sheet that breaks down the uses for different file types as well as How-To’s for implementing your brand elements on common programs like Microsoft and Google.
- Wrap-Up: Once the remainder of your invoice is fulfilled, I’ll send over your packaged documents as well as the knowledge you’ll need to use them in the years to come.
Loved working with Kaitlyn! We had a fast approaching deadline, and she was super easy to work with, as well as wonderfully talented and precise. Highly recommend her for any branding/graphic design needs, and look forward to working together again."
