Unless otherwise stated, classes are beginner-friendly with no drawing or painting experience needed and I'll supply all the watercolor and art materials. To stay updated when new classes are listed, join my newsletter here.

Private Lessons and Group Classes:

If you're interested in booking a two-hour, private watercolor lesson for up to two people ($150), you can do that through Burncoat Center for Arts and Wellness. 
I'm also starting to explore offering private group classes so if that's of interest, reach out and we can see if it'd be a good fit for your group.

Past Classes

Colorful Cocktails: A Pen and Watercolor Workshop

Bring a friend and paint your own 5x7" watercolor and ink portrait of your favorite cocktail or mocktail! I'll provide line drawings of different cocktail glasses, accessories and ingredients that you'll mix and match and then trace on your page. Next we'll outline your composition in permanent black pen before bringing it to life with watercolor. Along the way I'll share tips for tracing/transferring drawings to watercolor paper and some painting techniques that you can take with you for future projects.

Seasonally themed classes will have the option of both the original set of cocktail ingredients and seasonally-themed illustrations.

Custom Pet Portraits in Pen and Watercolor

Use watercolor and Micron Pen to bring to life a pre-drawn portrait of your pet! In this class, you'll create your very own pet portrait in Micron pen and watercolor. Attendees will submit the photo of their pet they'd like to paint to [email protected] at least four days prior to the event for it to be pre-drawn. At the event, we'll supply all the materials you need to outline and color in your portrait. Class is suitable for teens and adults of all skill levels.

Custom Recipe Portraits in Pen and Watercolor

Use watercolor and Micron Pen to bring to life a pre-drawn portrait of your favorite recipe! 

In this class, you'll create your very own recipe portrait in Micron pen and watercolor. Attendees will submit their recipe along with any reference photos at least one week prior to the event for it to be pre-drawn. At the event, we'll supply all the materials you need to outline and color in your portrait. Class is suitable for teens and adults of all skill levels.

One Day Watercolor Series

Intro to Watercolor & Pen, Six-Week Class

Join this six-week class to learn the fundamentals of watercolor and how to combine its fluid nature with more structured, Micron Pen line-work. All art backgrounds are welcome so no drawing skills are required.

WHAT TO EXPECT: This class is built off of my Intro to Watercolor series, so the first 2-3 classes will be focused on exploring basic watercolor skills like color mixing, water control, mark making and washes. The remaining classes will focus on completing progressively more complex projects, ending in a pen and watercolor portrait of a lobster shack (shown in photo). Throughout the class I’ll also introduce meditative warm-up exercises and simpler illustration styles that you can come back to when you are looking for a short project.
